The end, but just the beginning, too

Thank you Crandall Library for participating with us in this Learning 2.0 adventure!  It’s been a great learning experience for us, and we hope that you will continue to find the web tools and technologies that we’ve covered over the past several weeks useful for your library.  Here’s to lifelong learning!

Some Catching Up

It looks like a few people are taking advantage of the opportunity to catch up.  Over at doriebooks there is a post about trying out screencasting.  Thanks for sharing your experience!

If you haven’t had a chance to try out anything this week, don’t worry.  There are still a few more days.

There’s still time! :)

It looks like no one’s had a chance to check out the Connecting tutorials yet, but not to worry, there’s still time!  As our project winds down over the next couple of weeks, you’ll have plenty of time to catch up on all of the exciting technologies we’ve covered over the past several weeks, and reflect on your experience of participating in Create +8.  Have a great weekend!

Sharing about Sharing

We hope you’re enjoying trying out the sharing tools this week.  It looks like Jennifer had a chance to try both and blogged about her thoughts.  If you haven’t gotten to them yet, don’t worry. You still have plenty of time.  We look forward to reading about your thoughts when you get there.

Have a great weekend!

Learning about Teaching Tools

It looks like we haven’t had anyone blog about the teaching tools yet this week, but that’s ok!  The tools we’re covering about this week can take some time to learn.  We hope you guys are able to find some great ways to use them to your advantage. We definitely look forward to hearing your thoughts.  Next week is a catch up week, so you can use that time to play around with the tools you haven’t had a chance to try out yet.

Have a great weekend, everyone, and enjoy your time to play next week!

Just Getting Started

Thanks to Jennifer for providing feedback on the Week 2 modules!  She’s not into Kindles, and that’s okay!  We look forward to reading more of your blog entries soon.   But no pressure, this program is designed for you to work at your own pace.
Next week we’re moving on to the Teaching section which features some nifty tools for offering information literacy instruction online.

Have a great weekend!

Jump Right In

We hope the blogging module is going great for everyone. We have our first two participant blogs completed.  Great job Jennifer and Guinevere!  Way to jump right in.  We’re all looking forward to seeing what the rest of you come up with, too.

We have a few more days before we move on to the next module.  Don’t worry if you get a bit behind.  We’ve built in a couple of catch up weeks if you need them.  Just work through the week at whatever pace you need.  And have fun!

Remember, if you have any questions or comments for us, we’d love to hear them.
