The end, but just the beginning, too

Thank you Crandall Library for participating with us in this Learning 2.0 adventure!  It’s been a great learning experience for us, and we hope that you will continue to find the web tools and technologies that we’ve covered over the past several weeks useful for your library.  Here’s to lifelong learning!

Final Week

This is our final official week of the Create+8 project.  It’s another catch-up week, and your final week to question us, your knowledgeable guides.  But, of course, you can continue to work with the modules after we’re gone.  Thanks for participating!  Have a great week!

Some Catching Up

It looks like a few people are taking advantage of the opportunity to catch up.  Over at doriebooks there is a post about trying out screencasting.  Thanks for sharing your experience!

If you haven’t had a chance to try out anything this week, don’t worry.  There are still a few more days.

Catch Up Week!

Hello everyone!  The program has started drawing to a close.  We just have two more weeks.  This week there are no new modules.  Instead, we’re giving you the week to play around with the previous modules.  You can catch up on any you missed or try out more advanced work with those you’ve found particularly interesting.   As always, we’re here to answer any questions you have.

Have a great week!

There’s still time! :)

It looks like no one’s had a chance to check out the Connecting tutorials yet, but not to worry, there’s still time!  As our project winds down over the next couple of weeks, you’ll have plenty of time to catch up on all of the exciting technologies we’ve covered over the past several weeks, and reflect on your experience of participating in Create +8.  Have a great weekend!

Week 6: Connecting

Congrats on making it to Week 6!  This week we introduce some exciting Web 2.0 technologies that can make Connecting with your library patrons easy and fun.   Learn how to conduct surveys using Google docs, and find out about inventive ways to market your library using the photo-sharing site, flickr.   Have a great week, and let us know how it goes!

Sharing about Sharing

We hope you’re enjoying trying out the sharing tools this week.  It looks like Jennifer had a chance to try both and blogged about her thoughts.  If you haven’t gotten to them yet, don’t worry. You still have plenty of time.  We look forward to reading about your thoughts when you get there.

Have a great weekend!
